Barclays Entrepreneur Awards 2019

After winning the regional startup award earlier this year, we were delighted this week to be attending the national final of Barclays Entrepreneur Awards in London. With the annual awards process, now in its fourth year, Barclays aim to highlight and recognise entrepreneurs from the UK who are changing their industries, the economy and society in unique, original and positive ways.

Hosted by Sir Trevor McDonald, the awards were also an opportunity for Barclays to launch Here and Now, a report assessing the challenges currently facing businesswomen in the UK and how society can foster an inclusive environment that is open to all.

Although we didn’t bring home the startup award on the night, we were delighted also to see a fellow Bristol company successful as Nigel Toon from Graphcore won the ‘Icon of the Year’ award. Hopefully we’ll be back again next year!
