Analogue Electronics Engineer

At KETS Quantum, we are developing secure communications using future-proof, scalable, and easily-deployed photonic hardware. The founding team have invented the world’s first chip-based quantum secured encryption technologies – from quantum random number generators to quantum key distribution devices.

Following the launch of a collaborative Innovate UK project with Airbus and an ambitious expansion plan for 2018, we are looking for talented engineers to join our team. We are developing complex electronic and photonic hardware systems with global opportunities for revenue generation and need to build the team who can help us develop and take that hardware to market.

Reporting to the CTO, you will be joining us at a critical stage in the development of our first products. You will specialise in electronic hardware engineering and be responsible for developing and implementing the electronic systems for these new technologies. Experience in one or more of the following is required: high-speed (GHz) analogue and digital circuit electronics; DC analogue and digital circuit electronics; PCB layout, assembly, and testing; practical firmware development would be ideal. Experience of working in teams specialising in technology development is essential.

The successful applicant will work closely with our founding team, business advisors, and our collaborators in academia and industry, and as part of the set-squared start-up community.

We offer a competitive salary, benefits and access to company share options.
